12 Stores With Free International Shipping

By James / Last modified on January 11, 2024

Who doesn’t love free shipping? Or, to put it more accurately: who hates when you have to pay for shipping?

Everyone, that’s who.

Online companies that have free delivery programs, especially free international delivery programs, are loved, well, the world over. It’s nice to be able to place an order in Australia, Singapore, Ireland, or even Azerbaijan and know that you’re not going to have to pay a ransom just to get your order shipped internationally.

The following are some of the most popular online stores from all over the world that have free international shipping programs. Some of these companies have a minimum spend in order to qualify for free shipping, but it’s usually a very reasonable amount.

Note: You may have to pay additional costs such as customs and import duties when buying products from abroad. Some websites, like Amazon and eBay, have programs where you can pay those fees in advance. Otherwise, your local customs authority will contact you once they receive the items.

ASOS

UK-based clothing company, ASOS, is one of the top fashion websites in the world. And it’s little wonder why. ASOS stocks more than 850 different brands and more than 80,000 different products for both men and women, with special ranges for maternity, plus size, petite, curvy, and tall. Their website is easy to use and includes great suggestions for clothing for weddings, work, holidays (vacation), working out, and festivals. ASOS delivers to more than 100 countries worldwide including Australia, France, Singapore, Canada, and the United States.

Amazon

Amazon was one of the first companies to offer a global shipping program, and one of the first to offer free delivery to countries all over the world. Between Amazon itself, and the many 3rd party sellers that operate on Amazon, it’s possible to buy almost anything at Amazon including books, electronics, appliances, children’s toys, tools — you name it!

AmazonGlobal is definitely the easiest way to shop online, though. The international delivery program offers more than 30 million products, all of which can be delivered to more than 100 countries. Through the program, it’s also possible to estimate custom fees, choose your delivery speed, and even track your order in transit.

(Search for products that are a part of AmazonGlobal here.)

Of course, if you’re based in the EU, you may want to shop at one of Amazon’s European websites to avoid customs and import fees. Although most people shop at , Amazon’s US website (.com), Amazon also operates other websites in other parts of the world including the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan , and Australia.

For EU shoppers, Amazon Germany is probably the best followed by Amazon UK. Overall though, Amazon US (.com) is definitely the best website to shop at and the one that most people go to.

eBay

Like Amazon, eBay is a brand name that’s known the world over. Originally, eBay was solely an auction website and the place to go to buy vintage clothing, secondhand computer parts, or collectables. Although secondhand products are still a big part of eBay, these days a large portion of the products sold are often brand new and often sold by a retailer rather than an individual. Many brands and retailers, like BooHoo, Microsoft and Nintendo and have official stores on eBay, while others, like Dyson, Sports Direct, and Superdry, have a discounted outlet store instead.

Many products for sale on eBay, whether new or secondhand, have free international shipping. This is especially true of many products that ship from China, Hong Kong, and occasionally other countries in Asia like Malaysia and Japan. You can easily filter to only show products that offer ‘free international shipping’ by ticking the box on the left-hand side under ‘delivery options.’

Like Amazon, eBay offers a Global Delivery Program. This program, available to sellers in the US and UK, allows you to prepay additional customs charges.

Aliexpress

Aliexpress is an online marketplace aimed at international buyers who want to purchase goods from China. Aliexpress is owned by Alibaba but, whereas Alibaba focuses on bulk products ordering for businesses, Aliexpress allows customers to order a single product. It is commonly compared to eBay, as it allows individual sellers to sell directly to consumers.

Aliexpress is one of the most popular websites worldwide, particularly in Russia and Brazil but also in the Ukraine, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States.

Free shipping is available on many products. Individual suppliers set their own shipping costs, and decided whether or not they ship to specific countries, but overall shipping costs are low or free.
